"Tricky"

I have this friend who always describes relationships as being "tricky." Back then when she would always tell me that "relationships are tricky", I couldn't understand what she meant.
But being in a relationship now, I think I do.

I always thought I wasn't the jealous type. Being in a relationship now however, I've come to realize that I am. It's tricky because you've got to control what you feel. You've got to bite your tongue a lot of times and take a step back to re-think and evaluate your emotions and your thoughts before you start pulling the trigger and blurting out words you might regret.

I guess you can never ask your partner to refrain from going out with her guy friends. After all, they were part of her life first before you were.

Boss, if you ever get to read this, well, I just want to admit to you that I do get jealous. It's just that I have my head to check on me always. I just hope I'm doing the right thing by not being vocal about it.
